In case you’re unfamiliar with the “Turkey Trot” in Thiensville, it is a fundraiser hosted by the Junior Women’s Club of Mequon-Thiensville. Aside from also collecting donations for Toys for Tots, the net proceeds of this year’s event will fund the redevelopment of the community signboard located at the northeast corner of Mequon and Cedarburg Roads, in Mequon.

Events we attended…
McNabb & Risley Interior Designer John E. recently attended a private party for Indie film producer Joshua Green. Mr. Green was in Milwaukee last month promoting his two latest movies “I Want My Name Back” and “Don’t Stop Believin’: Everyman’s Journey” during the 2012 Milwaukee Film Festival.
If you’re not familiar with Milwaukee’s Film Festival, it’s a fifteen day event featuring over 200 amazing Indie films from 47 countries! Many feel that the festival is one of Milwaukee’s best attractions and the attendance is growing at an astounding rate.
To celebrate Green’s achievement in the film industry, a local couple hosted a fabulous party in their beautiful eastside home. John recently assisted the couple with the interior design of their home. Here are a few photos that share the couple’s adventurous design spirit and their love of classically inspired home furnishings.
