Here are some suggestions for sharing and caring during the holidays:
-Clean out your families closets and donate gently worn winter clothing and coats to your local charity.
-Purchase children’s hats and mittens and donate to those in need.
-Shovel your neighbor’s sidewalk.
-Purchase an extra bag of food, already packaged for you, from your local grocery store and donate it.
-Pass on paperback books and magazines to your local nursing home.
-Treat your local police or fire department to a bag of special coffee, homemade bakery or a pizza party.
-Animal shelters always need extra food and supplies; call your local shelter to see what they need most and donate.
-And most importantly, just practice random acts of kindness wherever and whenever you can.
Happy Holidays,
