Begin your 2015 DIY project with an empty jar and fill it daily with a note of things you are grateful for. Start with daily blessings, happy memories, goals you’ve reached and anything that made you smile. List small acts of kindness (big and small) and find something good to be thankful for every day. Open your jar on New Year’s Day 2016 and reminisce how fabulous your last year has been!
I started my gratitude jar mid-December and here are some of the things I am thankful for:
-My secret Santa who gave me the most amazing gifts the week before Christmas
-Elf on the Shelf fun
-Early morning video chats with family
-My husband surprising me with fresh flowers
There are so many small things and then there are epic things to be thankful for in all of our lives. Here’s to a year full of gratitude!
We will be closed New Year’s Day. Have a safe and happy holiday!
