In 1926 it was not uncommon to have a small sitting area upstairs for the entire family to use. This particular space was designed as a cozy den featuring a comfortable small scale sofa and two leather chairs. The brightly colored accent pillows complements the clients' antique area rug and coordinates with the color palette in the master bedroom beyond. The small bunching cocktail tables are constructed of reclaimed wood and feature an antique finish. This is a wonderful place to drink tea and relax with a good book before retiring for the evening. All furnishings, art, and accents (except for the antique rug) are from McNabb & Risley.
