Our antique art deco lapel watch was featured in September's M Magazine. This lovely timepiece was manufactured sometime in the 1920's and hangs upside down from a bar pin. These watches were treasured objects from the mid 1800's to 1920's because you could see the time simply by glancing down. Before then, ladies used small pocket watches attached to long chains that would have to be pulled out and opened to view. Later in the 1930's, the wristwatch was introduced and fashion forward ladies were delighted with the convenience of a timepiece worn on their wrist. I love this watch because you can dress it up or down, and I particularly adore it on this jean jacket. Find it now at McNabb & Risley, there's only one, so hurry in!
