There's a hint of Spring in the air this week, and I wanted to capture that feeling with this fun DIY centerpiece. Instead of the classic large floral bouquet, I did a less formal arrangement with $11 worth of Spring flowers from the local grocery store. I used glass bottles and jars instead of vases wrapped with natural twine. You also could use thin copper or silver florist wire as well, which would be just as effective. I placed a large slice of wood on the table then layered in two hurricanes with candles and an assortment of bottles and jars to complete the look. The burlap runner and slice of wood can be purchased at any craft store and the wood can be stained to match your table or left natural. This was easy to do and the guests at our open house loved it!
