The cabinet features a beautiful book matched Olive Ash Burl veneer that covers the case on all four sides including the top. Only the most perfect highly figured sections of wood are chosen by the expert craftsmen who then apply the veneers to a solid wood cabinet. This process can only be done by hand, just as it was done two centuries ago. The completed cabinet is placed on a hand cast cubist brass base that was polished and finished by the same craftsmen to ensure enduring quality and beauty.
