In 1954, Erv Riemer had a vision of bringing quality home furnishings to the Mequon-Thiensville area. Mr. Riemer founded Riemer Furniture and was instrumental in forming the Village Center, where our store is located today. In 1962, Richard McNabb and Russell Risley, former Schuster’s department store executives, carried on the tradition of serving the community and founded what is now McNabb & Risley, Fine Furniture and Interior Design located in downtown Thiensville.

Who could have imagined all the design trends and color schemes that would come and go since 1954?! But as the world of interior design has evolved and changed, so has McNabb & Risley. Yet some things have never changed, like our dedication to design excellence and our quest for fresh, innovative home collections.

Today a new generation is discovering the timeless appeal of McNabb & Risley. As we look toward the future, we are honored to continue the tradition of quality home furnishings, remarkable value and exceptional customer service.
