OOOHHH Sparkly…

is what I overheard a customer exclaim as she spotted this dramatic piece of art! I have to agree – glitter and metallic paint is always effective and I love how the light makes this painting come to life!

Metallic accents in art have been around since ancient times – think of the murals discovered in Pompeii – highlighted in gold. Now metallic paints, embellishments, and glitter accents are reinvented in a fresh sophisticated way. Above is one of my favorite paintings from my last buying trip, I have a hunch it won’t be here long!
